Hello everyone. I was so glad to find this forum. I've had my chihuahua for two days and he is a sweet boy. His name is Aidian and he is tiger striped. Right now he is snuggled up to my leg under the covers all nice toasy warm. I've never owned a chi before and so I hope to learn more about the breed, training, etc from more experienced owners. I found this site after searching for chihuahua floppy ears, I read the post on here about someone else's pup with floppy ears because I had always seen other chi's I meet at places with the standing up ears. I think his ears are adorable and kind of hope they stay floppy, but I was a little concerned about it too.

Can't wait to meet new friends and swap cute stories.

his little ears should stand eventually, it can take anywhere up to about 5 months of age i think x

Welcome, Aidan sounds like a little cutie, can't wait to see pictures. Zoey's ears stood and flopped when she is a puppy, and even know when they flop is how I can tell she's not feeling too good. But most of the time by the time they are about 5-6 months their ears should be standing or flopping for good
