Hi, welcome. Be careful, I found my first chi in the gutter in front of my house and I kept adding them until I now have 9 chis and two chi mixes. lol they are like potato chips, it's hard to stop at one. Your dog is a little cutie. Has he had his shots? I find I can place older dogs better if they have had their shots and are already fixed. There is a low cost spay/nueter place mine go to. Also, by you spaying/neutering your foster dogs, you can be sure they won't be used to add to the pet overpopulation. Good luck.

with 6 pets here now--[4 fosters]--i've reached my limit......overstepped it even.
i can safely say that if i see another pet in need, i'd do anything for it EXCEPT take it home.
that could change though, if somebody would respond to my 'adoptable' ads and i finally reduce my herd.
