Smile Hello! I'm new so please be kind! :)

Hello all! I have th proud of of th most adorable lil long hair chi! Well it's my daughter, we bought it for her 5th bday but I've kind of taken it over! Lol
Obviously I'm more of th care provider while my daughter still calls herself th mom.
Her name is Lucy and is 8 months old and is full of personality which matches perfectly w my daughter....spoiled! spoiled! spoiled!...but in that good way!

I do have a huge question: what is a good dog food for a chi that has a mild case of acid reflux?

Wow I should have proof read my initial post befor posting! Haha
I was feeding her purina smart blend lamb & rice but she didn't take to it too well after 2 bags. So I jus recently bought Science Diet lamb & rice from a local atwoods n my hometown. She seemed to like it better. Granted she's only had one bowl and that was las night.
She also has a significant chewing problem! Lol she destroys most chew toys that I get for her.

Welcome! There are some great foods out there to name a few, Fromm, Earthborn Holistics, Ziwipeak(really good), blue buffalo wilderness, The Honest Kitchen. The good things about these foods is that they are high meat little or no grain. You don't want any corn in a food, wheat and soy are common allergies and also work as just a filler. If you buy a high quality food, they eat less of it because their body absorbs more nutrients from it. So welcome to the forum please post pics!

I also wanted to add that if by acid reflux you mean bile (yellow liquid vomit or white foamy vomit) you can help prevent this by feeding smaller amounts more often. Young chis also can suffer from low blood sugar, so feeding a few times a day can really help as opposed to feeding once a day while they are young. One of my girls suffers low blood sugar still (she will be 2 years old in August) and has already had one seizure so I'm careful with this. Not trying to scare you, just want to let you know in case that is what your baby is going through.
