Rocky looks pure bred to me. Are his parents on the big size? Did you see them?

I have a tiny 3.3# girl, and one 6+# girl, and a 8.8# girl!! Two of them have medical issues and are a pound overweight, but vet says do the best I can with them. They are stable in weight for several years now.

He looke full Chi to me Hun. My Chi Abby is 7 1/2 lbs and is a purebred. I have seen numerous pic of Chi's with Big ears. There is one up for adoption as we speak I will try to find and post a pic of it for you.

Toby was over 3.5 pounds at 6 months old. Now at just over one year old, he is 5.3 pounds.

My mom's chi, Rocky, was 5 lbs at 6 months old. He's now 7.5 lbs. He is a full bred chi. He's Toby's half brother.

Anyhow, pure bred Chis come in all shapes and sizes. Your boy looks full chi to me.
