Princess and I 🐶(we are new to the chi community )

Hello everyone!!

I decided to joined this community because its my first time as a pet owner and a proud new owner of my lil chihuahua,her name is princess.

(Please do not judge me) few months ago my ex brother in law got a chihuahua (princess) for my nephew who's 4 years old, my brother in law works from 6am to 10-11pm and my nephew usually stays over my sisters house unless I'm watching him, as you may imagine princess never went out or she did but only to do her necessities he did not take her out at all even on his days off my nephew rarely saw her but loved her! The worst is that he didn't shower the chihuahua cut her nails basically did not do a general cleaning her making sure she was heathy (hygiene ) sometimes when I took care of my nephew and my step dad allowed me to bring the puppy over I would and take her for a few mins.well finally my ex brother In law gave up and wanted her to go and give it to someone he asked if I would like to have her since I loved her! And bought her food clothes toys when I went out I gladly said yes! Because I like princess and was afraid no one would take care of her as well as I did and love her ! As I believe she has never been to the vet etc and I haven't had the opportunity to do so,PLEASE DO NOT SAY IF U WANTED A DOG U SHOUDVE KNOWN SHE NEEDS MEDICAL CARE! Because I know that ! And believe she needs to go It looks like I will be able to do so very soon !! I have been grooming her take her on daily walks cut her nails bathed her(when given she had DANDRUFF!! ) and feed her she looks quite healthy now so please accept us with no judgments I'm doing much as possible to keep her well and alive I love her !!! =)

person, who acted out of love for this little Chi, and offered it a better, happier
life. Welcome to the forum, I hope you enjoy your stay. It's a very informative

Heck girl, we're not going to judge you, it's a wonderful thing you've done and something that was thrust on you before you even had a chance to get your finances in order for the vet etc. That will come and by the sounds of you, you'll make it your first priority and no-one could be happier about that.

Thank goodness you took her, it sounds like she had a very empty life and the best part is, your little nephew still gets to see his beloved dog.

Welcome to the forum, you'll learn heaps here and get lots of support and understanding if you're ever having difficulties or just need to know something. No question is a stupid question!!!

LS & AussieLass thank you so much for the kind reply I almost cried,no joke because ever since I had her and I go to any other forum or ask people about questions regarding princess they all get mad and say I was selfish to keep her knowing I didn't have the money for it.But yes she will be going to the vet soon for her own good and my peace knowing she's healthy! & Im looking forward to get knowledge from all you . Anyway here are some pics of her from yesterday we went hiking and it was cold that's why she has her pink jacket
