Thank you, she's not up to standard by any means, but she is very pretty none the less. Very sweet too.

Hahaha I have no doubt! Both of my sisters, and most of my friends have chi's. When we would all get together I had the 115 lb, all muscle, Rotty male, and those chi's owned him. Pushed him off his bed, took his toys, bossed him around, and he worshiped the ground they walked on. He would follow them around, do whatever they wanted, and would protect them from other dogs.

The bossiest of them all? The littlest! My little sis's 3 1/2 pound queen B! She gets everyone to do what she wants! Too funny! Your Basenjis are really handsome too, btw. Beautiful dogs.

I have a cryptic merle, Chanel, which is a hidden merle, but merle none the less.

I never new Chanel was a merle.

Thank you, for that information it is good to know, but I will have him fixed, so I don't think I will have him tested. I just think this is a good post for all to learn, if it is passed down or not. This is all new to me, never heard of a merle Chi, till I went to pick up Ike.
