Talking Hi, new chi pup on the block

Hi there, i'm Megan and if you look at my avatar that's my new chihuahua puppy Jazzybell (Jazz for short). She is going to be 10 weeks tomorrow (I know too young to be away from momma).

Little about me: I live in Massachusetts and i'm 17 years old. Love the chihuahua breed. I have actually been stalking this forum for maybe two years learning as much about the breed as possible and about the raw diet, waiting for the day that I get my very own chi. I finally got her and am very excited to seeing her grow and learn how to eat her raw.

Little about Jazz: Jazz is a cuddle bug. She is a long coat. Seems to have a caramel color to her (maybe that's sable?). I feed her some of a chicken wing last night and this morning and she seems to be doing great. I had gotten her from a guy that had bought her from another person that bought her from a breeder in Wisconsin (I could barely follow that). The breeder was an Amish breeder. She seems very healthy and bright and I hope she is that way for many years to come.

I hope I didn't make this long and boring (I enjoy writing and talking about dogs)

Hello welcome, she is adorable. Just make sure she is eating and drinking well, my Ike was 7 weeks old when we got him, he is doing great. I still feed him 4 times a day.

Thank you pigeonsheep and Evelyn!
I'm thinking she was taken from her mom probably at 7 weeks since she went through two owners before getting to me (she will actually be 10 weeks tomorrow).
And they had her on a two times a day feeding schedule... Not sure if I should do 4 times a day or keep it at two times a day?

Also I have a question, she doesn't carry her tail in a sickle like chis do. Could it be because she is still getting used to everything or is it normal for puppies to not carry their tail like that?

At 10 weeks I think she should be fed 3-4 times a day. Welcome to the forum! Lots of info here.
