Welcome, Christine!!! You have an amazing heart to take in Bindi!! I am sure she will be forever grateful that you are stepping in to give her the home she deserves! I have a few "special needs" dogs; including one 10+ year old Senior, who I too ended up adopting after his owner passed away. Let me tell you he's the most appreciative of every head scratch and belly rub; I am sure Bindi will be the same way. I look forward to getting to know the both of you. =)

Did she lose her lower teeth, or is her lower jaw gone? She looks really perky and is lucky to be adopted by you at her age. I'm sure she'll be able to eat, maybe wet food? Let whoever is taking care of her now tell you what and how she is eating. Her little ears look really bad too. It will take time for her to get back to the beauty she really is. Good luck and welcome to the forum. Questions are eagerly answered.

Aww Christine, you sweetie pie, how nice of you to adopt an older girl.
She's ridiculously adorable. Welcome to the forum! Do you have any
other pets?

Hi Susan,

Yes she has lost all her teeth, upper and lower, hence the reason for the disintegrating jaw. She is eating well apparently. Whats wrong with her ears?

Hi LS,
Yes I also have two maltese-shihtzu's named Chopper who's 5 and a half and Daisy who is 4. I thought they were small until I met Bindi. She's only 3lbs and light like a feather. I hope they all get along.

Christine (Bindichi)
