New to Forum.

I inherited 2 Chihuahuas. Both are about 3 years old, 1 male and a female. I am familiar with the dogs as they belonged to my dad. Louie and Mini have relocated from Santa Barbara to Clayton, CA. Louie is fine with the move but Mini is grouchy. She only gets friendly when you are laying in bed. She will let you pet and scratch her. If you are doing normal routine and you call her she runs to her crate.
The main thing I need to know is if there is a Chihuahua friendly Vet in my area, Walnut Creek, Concord or Clayton? Mini needs her nails done.
I will be doing a lot of reading and asking advice.

hi , Welcome to Chi people .
i hope you can find a good vet in your area. i would ask around to everyone you know even if they dont have a dog, maybe they have a freind or relative that has one and can recommend a good vet in your area.
you dont have to take them to the vet to get there nails done. you can also find a good groomer. i take mine to petsmart but not all groomers are good. i found one guy i think is really good, so i always request him

Thanks for the replies. I think mini will need a Vet because she is aggressive when she doesn't want to be handled. They will need shots because I have no records. And a check-up would let me know whats what.
