By this husky girl. I, like many others on here, often browse craigslist and petfinder, clearly Im looking for trouble. This just breaks my heart and I love huskys. My fiance already said no, but Im so tempted to call tomorrow for some more info on her. He has been saying we need a playmate for our lab, a dog closer to his own size that he can really romp around with, so Im trying to work it from that angle! At the same time it always makes me feel a little sick to my stomach when I think of adding a new animal, I always worry it will upset the others.

I know how you feel. There is a lab mix and a border collie that I often see at the dog park, and they are so sweet, and Stella loves them.

I also met an American Bulldog pup and practically had to tear myself away from him. His face was irresistible.

There is no way I can have 5 dogs, especially with two of them being over 50 pounds. Even so - it's so tempting.

My hubby and i were talking about a playmate for Lily,getting another chi,"he said exactely the same thing "Maybe it would upset the balance "it's great as it is.But as i pointed out he said the same thing when we decided to get Lily,what's it like .So glad we got her,and all the worrying before hand ,am i doing the right thing,will she get on with my sheltie and cat ?What if she's a little cow.She has made our life,more interesting with her antics,she loves my sheltie and the cat and her are the best of friends.So go for it i say

Wow.. I had chihuahua ... my brother brought his husky over...very sweet playful husky.. chihuahua and Husky got along great.. Husky so playful... likes to pounce downward...doesnt know his strength accidently comes down onto the chihuahua breaks chihuahuas back... Husky doesnt mean to ... just accident...

guys without throwing a spanner in the works, huskies are the most fab dogs in the worlod if you know the breed, ask teri or val, but they need a very experienced hand, we had lola for a year when she went back too my friend lisa who bred her, she loved me but no one else,having said that she also pulled me to the ground several times and dragged,and dragged! they blow their coats, we had lola from a pup, so if you take on an older dog, you dont know temperment, an d the howling which i find cute, others dont!
if you feel you can handle this dog then do it, remember they are born to run and work, iv seen lola few times on her rig which is stunning, they also have a prey instinct anything smaller and they will chase
im sorry if im very negitive, but huskies have a special place in my heart being the nearest to the beautiful wolf, but would be a shame to see this beautiful dog go back into rescue,
