i just found out i will be adopting a sister for Minnie and Tootsie, She is a 2 year old Yorkie named Peyton. i havent seen a pic of her but she is owned by a very good friend of mine who lives in Alabama. My freind, whom i'm very worried about, found out recently she has cancer and she needs to find good homes for her animals, so i am taking one of her 3 little yorkies. She said Peyton weighs around 5 pounds. Not sure exactly when i'll be getting her. She has a good freind who will be driving down here to Massachusetts but not sure when , maybe in a month, maybe sooner, not sure yet.

Awwww, that's so great of you! My dad recently adopted a yorkie, he's had one before, they are great little dogs. Sorry about your friends cancer.

So sorry about your friend. Cancer is just ugh. My cousin had a brain tumor and is now in remission, but it was a long scary road for a while.
Hope the new little yorkie adjusts well to having new playmates.

thank you , my freind Joan says this yorkie is very sweet and loves to curl up on someones lap. and she is used to other dogs. besides having yorkies, Joan also has Shi tzus ( probably didnt spell that right) and a dobermain and an irish setter. she also had a grooming business she had to give up. so, this little dog is used to being around alot of other dogs. and Minnie and Tootsie love other little dogs, so i think it will work out fine. i'll post pics as soon as i get her but it could be awhile , not sure.

Awww....so sad about your friend. We just had a close friend die from cancer on August 1. Glad you can take one of her dogs! Definitely show us some pics!

Peyton sounds adorable. Thats so kind of you to open your home to your friends dog, Im sure that knowing shes going to a good home takes some of the worry off of her mind. My dad was recently diagnosed with cancer, but we have been getting some good news and it seems like it will be very treatable so hopefully we will continue to be lucky. Ill be thinking of your friend and sending you both good thoughts.
As others have said, Im excited to see pics of the girls all together! Peyton is such a sweet name.

thanks, glad your dad is doing well. my dad was very ill with cancer around 10 years ago, and now is totally cancer free

** i thought about it after i posted this and maybe it wasnt so appropriate to be talking about cancer, dont want to make everone sad and it is such a sad topic. i just wanted to anounce that minnie and tootsie were getting a sister
