Default Hey ma, whut u brings us?

Bryco says...HEY MA, WHUTCHU GOTS DER?

Oakley has a sniff...

Is a widdle biddy kiddy!

Someone brought them to church today, they were going to the humane society tomorrow, so...we decided to get one. Most of the cats here are black or orange, so we really liked the coloring. She has bright blue eyes although they will prob turn green when she gets older.

She likes her bed already and knows its hers!

Is she not the cutest thing EVER? We had been talking about getting one soon as we are planning to buy a house in the next few months and mice are awful out here.

1.5 lbs of cuteness! She is only 6.5 weeks old, a little young to be away from mom and litter but was going to humane society anyway, so oh well...we'll get her vet checked asap tomorrow.

She has been raised indoors in the lady's kitchen, very sweet, didn't hiss or paw at the dogs, actually tried to get Bryco to play. We gave her a washdown before we let the dogs sniff her. I haven't had a cat before so this is a new thing for us!

For now we got it EVO for food, it already ate its hard food we offered it when we came home right away. Its belly feels a little bloated so I bet it needs to be wormed. We'll keep it separate from the puppers for the most part til all is in order

Oh my goodness...what a doll! Is she a Simease? Definitely looks it with the darker points & blue eyes. Gorgeous none the less. So glad everyone is getting along. I wish my pups & 2 sister cats would get along. They're mostly outdoor cats & one of them is bipolar & will either sniff & love on the Chi's or dig them so the Chi's are so unsure of them & usually just chase them out the doggy door if they are further in the house than the kitchen or cat room (closet before going up to our room where we keep their food). Anyway...someday when we don't have any cats I'd love to get a Himalayan or Persian. A cat that stays INSIDE. Once they get outside they seem to get all wild acting. LOL

Enjoy your new kitty. What is her name??

She doesn't have a name yet...suggestions? I was thinking maybe Lulu. I don't take naming cats very seriously lol, I guess. She will eventually be somewhat of an outdoor cat, but not until she's much bigger of course...mice are a big problem around here so when we buy our house we'll prob have to get her a buddy to go on mouse patrol.

I have no idea what kind of cat she is, she does have BRIGHT blue eyes though, the entire litter except for one black one, looked like this one. Very very cute. She was free lol, so who knows...gonna take her to the vet tomorrow for a checkup. I think she prob needs to be dewormed

I personally like Lulu a lot! I think it suits her too. We had a Simease when I was a kid that was an excellent hunter. Actually last I knew she was still alive. She was lke 17 or so... LOL Anyway...they're definitely great at keeping rodents at bay. We used to have a mouse & chipmunk issue but once our cats started going outside it stopped immediately! Plus they're getting a bit of their own raw food in there.
