There's a thunderstorm here and a big male rhodesian ridgeback was trying to find shelter from the rain, so I dried him off and made a little comfy bed of old tshirts and towels for him and gave him some water and food. I have no idea who might be his owner.

He looks very well taken care of, nails cut short and collar, but no ID tag. And here they don't microchip. He's also very well behaved and VERY STRONG!

I already called the only shelter on the island. They're putting it up on facebook and scanning phone calls. I also called the local radio station.
Poor guy, he looks so frightened of the thunder This island is very small so I suppose the owner will be found quickly.

Any other tips to make him more comfortable or how to find the owners?

aww, thats so nice of you. his owners must be worried about him.
you could call the local veteranarians also.
What island do u live on. My parents live in the USVI

I found the owners!!! They live around the corner from us apparently!!! Well that's my good deed for the day lol!

That is great he is back home. I did not know what a rhodesian ridgeback was so I looked it up very nice looking doggie.
