Default Frisco

I know this is probably really silly, but Frisco passed in August of this year. Even though we have a big puppy in the back yard, and a new dog, I still find I miss my Frisco. I hope you don't mind, but I really need to talk about him. I knew him for only three yrs, but my husband has had him since he was a puppy. Frisco lived 16 years. He was the best companion I could ask for. I love him so much. I am sorry for going on, but sometimes its so hard without him.

I lost me dog Nicki when she was 16 as well and it was very diffcult to get through, you will never forget Frisco, he will always be in your heart no matter how many other pets you have. You have to try and be content in the knowledge that you gave him the best life he could have. He knew how much you loved and cared for him and he is now a young, healthy, happy pup running free at the rainbow bridge. Don't be too hard on yourself he would want you to be happy. How is your husband doing?

He took it hard. I think he is getting along about it better than me. But some guys just don't talk about it. We both knew what was happening, but figured since he seemed comfortable and wasn't in any pain to let it happen at home. It was the saddest day of my life.

Aw, it will be ok, you just need more time. I know guys seem to hold in their feelings, they think if they don't talk about it it will go away. It sounds like it was a very diffcult day, but he knew you were there and loving him.
