This is my big boy Dylan doing his favorite thing in the world, going for a ride in the Jeep. I don't have the words to say how special he is to me.
The first time I saw Dylan I was standing in my old bosses back yard watching him bark at a leaf. He was chained up inside a huge chain link pen I thought it was odd but I didn't say any thing. The next night at work my curiosity got the better of me and I asked my boss why he had him tied up inside a pen and he preceded to tell me that dog was the craziest creature he had ever seen, he barks at every thing, he chews on everything, you can't keep him penned in to save his life, not to mention every time he comes in eye contact with a man he acts like he is going to eat them, and that if he got one more complaint from the neighbors he was taking him to the pound! That surprised me some what because my boss was a very good man who I know loved animals I told him not to do that if he needed a home I would take him. Turns out Dylan actually belonged to his daughter I'm not sure if he felt bad about getting rid of his daughters dog or putting a trouble making dog off on me but every time I asked he would say no. He finally came in one night and said he was taking him to the pound the next morning I said good I know they won't argue with me, they will be more than happy to let me have him but of course he could save me the adoption fee. I WON! he brought Dylan to me the next day of course half way to my house Dylan decided to jump out of the back of the truck..at 40 mph! So we spent our first day together at the vet..lol thankfully he was fine just a mild case of road rash.
5 yrs later he is by far the biggest goof of a dog I have ever had and I love every goofy hair on him! Oh and we still have to chain him up in the fenced in back yard if we leave him home alone outside for more than a few hours lol.
