Angry I did it!

I called the animal control on my neighbors. I feel bad, but I'm glad their lab and her puppies will be better taken care of now. I can't believe they moved and didn't take them with them. It kinda makes me mad, and now I wish I had done it sooner as I know they have other things to get. The animal control people saw how skinny the mother was, and there was a puppy they couldn't get to because it was stuck under the shed. They will be back tomorrow to try and get it. They left it food and water for over night. I hope I did the right thing.

Don't feel bad, the lab and puppies are lucky they had you looking out for them. I hope they can rescue the little one from under the shed, poor thing.

Good for you. I have called animal control on neighbors before. Or, if their dog is running loose constantly and is from an abusive home, I will grab it and take it to the SPCA and explain what is going on at the house. At least the mom and babies will get the care they need and the hope of finding a great home. I hope the puppy gets caught soon, poor little thing.

You did a good thing. I just don't understand how people can treat their animals that way.

You did the right thing! I know it's scary, but don't worry. The pups are definitely better off with your help.

we had animal control come for a neighbor... she was running an animal hospital out of her house and she went in the hospital herself leaving hardly food or water. Someone in the apartment next to them, called animal control after smelling a really fowl odor.

There were 5-6 cats taken. 2 of them deceased... It was sad. They were thrown out of the apartment after cops came a few times. Poor cats. I think they also had a dog that was deceased as well.

they did not take any of the items that were dirty so the landlord after a week or so threw their stuff out on the sidewalk which were many travel cages book cases that were urinated on and stuff. they had to renovate the entire inside. Ickkk.

That's bad. I took their chi from them and she had fleas bad, and was really skinny. From what I understand the inside of the house was full of mold. If you can't take care of children you don't need animals.
