Awww so beautiful. My sister just had to have her Love Bird put to sleep as she broke her leg and it would have cost close to a thousand dollars to fix because it was so high up on the leg and even then there was no guarantees

Gorgeous fish! I didn't know they could be so beautiful. I have always had one in my office but just got them from a pet store. My first lived over three years but I have not had that kind of luck again. They are good company in an odd sort of way.....

They are very good company I agree I told my bf I'm going to get him one for his office desk lol I work at a nursing home and some of my more capable patients have them as pets in their rooms! My bf wants one now in his office lol! I don't know if I'm going to get one at the store or have one shipped in yet well see!

I'd love to get a purple one I've seen some gorgeous ones on the auction!

Beautiful fish you have. I love Bettas, mine lived for 2.5 years. It lived in a 2 gallon tank, 3 inches of gravel, several plants to hide in and a small water heater. It died during a winter storm when we lost power, we placed him by our heat source but it wasn't enough to keep him in the way he was accustomed. I cleaned his water completed out twice a month. Spyros favorite game was hide and go seek and give mama a heart attack (lay real still upside down) He hated my husband and refused to eat when he fed him. I cried like a baby when I lost Spyro. One day I will get another.

Aqua fin keeps coming to mind as a name for your little one.

Sorry for your lose, but glad to hear that you got a new one...
I have a betta fish, but not that big. He's red. I had a little scare a few months ago where he just stopped swimming and was on the bottom, but the next day he was up and swimming again... weird. I got him last December. He's my first betta after 3 goldfish that died 3 days after i got them. . I didn't think my betta would last this long. lol. I first named him Rosie because I thought he was a she but then I looked at a chart and found out that she was a he and renamed him Ricky.
