My father suddenly and unexpectedly passed away a little over a week ago. He had three dogs and I've successfully found homes for two of them. I decided to take the most low-key of the three, but she is also the biggest and oldest (we think she is around 13-14.) She has many and varied health issues, two of which that are most obvious are some rotten teeth and 2 tumors. I believe she also may have some hip issues and/or arthritis. She needs to be groomed, thankfully my roommate has offered to foot that bill. Obviously, she also needs A LOT of vet care.
We have her on a not so great food and plan on upgrading to a 3-4 star food, plus put her on some supplements, as soon as this food runs out.
I would like to get her in to see a vet for an exam, get her rabies, her teeth cleaned and pulled, ect. I do not have the funds available to do so. I'm hoping someone on here knows of a way for me to go about setting up something online for donations. I'm open to any suggestions except for the pound. Family help is also out.

Jayme, I am sorry to hear of the loss of your father. Bless you for taking care of his furchildren. As far as online donations, Chipin.com would be my recommendation for raising funding. Facebook is a wonderful networking tool that many rescues often use to spread the word of pets in need of assistance, too! Good luck and best wishes!

So sorry to hear about your Dad. I think chipin would be a great place to start and you could share it on the social networking sites that you use and get the word out. I'm sure there would be many people that would be willing to help!

Thanks for the list, that'll be of some great help. I'm not sure of her breed, I believe she MAY be some type of Tornjak mix breed, but I really have no idea. My family adopted her as an adult from a local shelter about 10 years ago.
