Smile Best Cats&Dogs Food (Need Your Help)

Hi Everyone,
I hope you remember me Im Fadhila.
Its been a long long time since i posted. I've been dealing with family and work problems. Some might even remember since that all happened when i was still posting here everyday but thats also the time I slowly left Chi People.
Its much comer now but we are still going thro it.

I come now and again to read and see the Chi's Pics
Chico and Lily are wonderful. And I'm fostering a cat named Romeo for a year now.

To get to my topic.
were i work we import food brads from all over the world. Sweets mostly. Well the good news is since its food that we look for I talked to the people in my company to import pet foods too. Cats and dogs at first.

Our Only brand of food is Royal Canon. (Yes i know right ) The rest are supermarket food.

Well I need to change that. i know alot of people who order online for there pet food from US or UK. Its expensive with the shipping and with the cost of the bag to be send to saudi Arabia. And to do that every month its to much.

So Im asking my Chi Family if you can help me get
-The best brads of pet foods for dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes.
-The best pet treats.
-The best can pet Food
-The best supermarket pet food
-The official sites.

Its hard for me to know even if i do the research since we don't have here in Saudi Arabia the option to explore whats good and whats bad.

I used to order Orijen and Wellness For Chico and Lily But thats all the brads i know and thats because of this forum that I even knew it.

I will appreciate any help. Thank you in Advance.

Could you get Ziwi Peak? It is from New Zealand. They do air dried raw for both dogs and cats, and canned versions. Generally considered to be the best commercial dog food by users of this forum

Yes we can We can get anywhere in the world. Im not only looking for US and UK brands.
I always thought Ziwi Peak was raw food. I didn't know they have it dried. Thank you.

I will add it in my list.

Edit: What do you mean when you say commercial food?

I would definitely include Ziwipeak (it is a raw food but it is freeze dried so it looks like little pieces of jerky.)
If you are wanting a variety I would suggest foods like Orijen, Acana (including some of the limited ingredient varieties), Fromms, Blue Buffalo Wilderness, Innova Prime, Wellness, Core.
All of the above foods are grain free. I can't comment on grain foods because I have never fed foods with grain in them.
I think it is great that you are trying to get better foods for cats and dogs in your area!

Thank you. Its so frustrating to not have the right food. And not alot of people will go and research to find the best. They think because its in the vet or pet store than it must be ok. here they don't do much research when it comes to animals. And that makes me mad.

So I will do it for them and hopefully it will make a deference.

I will add your suggestions in my list. And after i get all the names i will look into there sites and do a deep research.

Commercial dog food is mass produced food- anything that isn't home cooked or prey model raw.

I'd also get some less expensive but still okay brands in case people over there don't want to spend a ton of money. Stuff like the regular line of Blue Buffalo and Taste of the Wild. They aren't the best but they are better than average and quite affordable.

Thank you So much. And that is also our plane. We want to get deferent but good pet food. for people who cant offered to spend so much.

Because this wont be only for the city I live in but it will be in all Saudi Arabia.

Is Blue Buffalo and Taste of the Wild are they considered Commercial pet food?
And is there a deference between Commercial pet food and supermarket pet food?
Or are they the same but only the prise and quality are deferent.

Sorry I know I'm asking so many questions.

Fadhila! It's been so LONG! I am so happy to see you here again!! You MUST post new pics of Chico and LIly! and also your foster kitty!!

I am feeding raw, but if you can get ZiwiPeak - it's excellent as pointed out. Also Stella and Chewy's is really good for a pre-made raw (comes dry in a bag just like kibble, as does the ZiwiPeak.)

Are you still thinking of doing a rescue or sanctuary? I remember that was a dream of yours.

I am just so HAPPY that you are back.
