He is looking so cute. You have a good collection of photos. So what’s the name of this breed? How they react and what’s he like or dislike? Share all of your pup habits with us.

Pico is a hairless Chinese Crested dog, though he's aesthetically not to standard. He's smaller than they should be and CCs are supposed to have a 'crest', or fur on their head, as well as 'socks' or fur on their feet and a plume of hair on their tail.

CCs are typically very sweet and affectionate, and also have big personalities. They make you laugh, they make you hold your head in your hands and then they make you laugh again. They're a wonderful little breed and come in two types: the hairless, (which has little to no body hair or can have a moderate amount or a significant amount, though all hairless lack an undercoat) or a powder puff variety which has a full coat and undercoat. Lost Lake Lua's pups Tequila Rose and Julian Patron are both CC powder puffs. The hairless variety doesn't shed and grooming can be fairly minimal, but they need skin care. They can get blackheads and breakouts, they can get sunburned and in the winter, they need clothes because they get very cold, otherwise. They also tend to have fewer teeth with shallow roots, as dentition and hair production are linked.

If you go to Youtube and do a search for 'Dogs 101: Chinese Crested' you'll find a nice little piece about them.

Pico is definitely a character. He loves meeting new people and dogs and going new places and he LOVES to be warm. He sleeps in front of heater vents and up against the other dogs. In the evening, he likes to cuddle in laps and under covers, but only in the evening. During the day, he'd rather be on top of covers. He loves to play, and likes to chew on the corner of my textbooks while I do homework. :P When he chews on a high value chew like a bully stick or a Himalayan chew, he growls and snarls AT the chew. He can be in a room by himself, and you'll hear growing and grumbling as he tells his chewie he's boss. He's doing well with housebreaking, loves to give nose kisses and loves when you massage the back of his neck. If you pick him up when he's sleepy, he'll nap with his head on your shoulder, and when he's excited and wants to play, he'll bounce between play bows and waving his front paws in the air. ...and that's Pico!
