Poor little girl Why are people so cruel!! Animals are soo loving and want to give love and be loyal to their owners. It just breaks my heart to hear this!!! I am sure she will remember how kind and loving you were to her before and come around to her old self my thoughts and prayers are with you both

She did remember who I was last night. She was very affectionate with me, and that of course was great. She is still terrified though.

She is staying with my mom because that house is familiar and I am going there to work with her a lot. She does seem at least slightly less stressed though..

From what we know they got her after promising up and down to care for her (a lot of people wanted her at the time) and then left her in the yard. I think there's more to it, but not being socialized can certainly cause aggression.

This makes me so upset. It breaks my heart that people don't realize and appreciate that a dog is a commitment for life - not just until you get bored of it. Unfortunately, you can't always tell who's in it for the long run at first.

I'm glad she found her way back to you. I'll be thinking of you guys.
