Jaxx is just transitioning into ZP while we are using up the Orijen he has left. He normally gets about 10 squares a day added into his Orijen. I was giving him a more but he was gaining weight so I cut it back a little.

I just got out Max's portion ready for tomorrow. He's on the lamb flavour at the moment and there were about 60 pieces in total which will be about 30 per meal.

He weighs about 4 pounds.

35 pieces for brunch, scooped up about 1/4 of the ZP scoop

Star is 7 months and 3.1 lbs. She is also fed raw for dinner.

About 26ish pieces each per meal, but they only get it for breakfast. I just do like a 1/3 of the scoop that is in the Ziwi bag.

Izzie is 4 lbs and Bella is 8.5 lbs.

Both Lady and Prince get about 20-25 quares twice a day. I basically use a tablespoon measure and a heaping tablespoon is about 20-25 squares. Lady is 5.5 pounds and Prince a little under 4 pounds. Lady was a little pudgy when I got her so she has a tendency to gain weight. I was giving her more when I first started ZP but she seemed to gain some weight so I cut it back. Both of them love it and have done well on it. Just ordered another bag.

Hubby thinks I am weird measuring Jaxx's food by a tablespoon but for me that works. I just turn ounces into TBSP to estimate his food. I am glad I am not the only one that does it that way.

Thank you btw that gives me a good idea where to start with Jaxx when he does the switch over to ZP totally. He is a little under 4 pounds and I had figured it to be about 2 to 2.5 tablespoons a day but it is good to know I am at a good starting point.

Hmm, maybe i'm overfeeding? Breakfast this morning they got approx 40 squares each, at night they get half that and approx 30g of mince. I just do a 1/2 scoop and share that between 2 bowls and then try and match that with the 3rd bowl. Winston always gets the bowl that is a little fuller because he's only 9 months and still has a bit of filling out to do.

Ax and Chloe are both 4.6 lb and Winnie is about 4.2lb. The older ones have maintained their weight nicely for the last 4-6 months since they have been approx 10 months. I've recently upped their portions a little (maybe 10 squares a day each) becasue we're back to doing 2x daily walks now that the weather is good here. Plus they spend all day running around and wrestling with eachother like maniacs.

Sarah, as long as they aren't gaining weight, you're not over feeding.

Toby weighs about 5.4 lbs and only gets about 30 pieces per meal, less than recommended. But he doesn't need more than that. I think every dog is different. And it depends on their activity level (when he goes to day care or on extra long walks he gets appx 10 pieces more per meal).
