I forgot to count them this morning...Lulu weighs 5lbs 10ozs and eats 31-32ish squares or a heaping 1/8th cup two times a day.

edit: I think I probably under feed Lulu for the amount she may need for her weight but she in pretty inactive and tends to gain weight easy. If she starts to gain weight I don't cut down on her food amount anymore, I up her excercise.

That is probably a great starting point. That is roughly what mine get. I often wonder how much they would eat if I just left the bag open on the floor for them....I think Lady would eat until she burst and that would be quite costly

Toby would definitely eat the ZP until he burst. Any other dog food he couldn't care less about but ZP is a valuable resource. I think he'd weigh 10 lbs if I let him eat however much he wanted.

Dee, this has really helped me because when people talk about tablespoons or the scoop in the bag I have no clue how that compares to what I feed. When everyone gives number of squares and dog's weight there is no confusion and it is easy comparison.

Bailey is approx 5 lbs and gets around 25-30 pieces twice a day so between 50 and 60 pieces total

Jaxx used to eat his fill and then leave the rest but anymore I think he would eat and eat until he got sick.

Since I started adding ZP to his food when 3 o'clock comes he is telling me it is time to eat if I forget. The other day I was busy doing homework and he kept whining and mouthing on my hand to get my attention. It took me a few minutes to figure out it was after 3 pm and he wanted to eat.

another thing to take into consideration is if your dogs are getting treats between feedings. mine dont get treats due to allergies. so, all they eat is there ziwipeak. they dont even get bully sticks which also have calories in them.
my Minnie gets around 45 pieces per feeding and weighs about 5 to 5 1/2 pounds. ( this seems like alot compared to everyone else... but as i said, they get no other calories ) she is very thin and so i want her to eat as much as she can. i think she has a fast metabolism.

Tootsie on the other had could stand to lose a bit of weight ... i really cant cut her ziwi back though . she would just be so hungry. i may start giving her a few green beans as treats to satisfy her

I think playing with other dogs really makes a difference. Mine play together all day long, more so now that we have added Winston into the mix. He's a real little bundle of energy and encourages the other two to be more active, they are much more laid back than he is! I felt like they were really hanging around and begging for food before I upped their meals a little but they may just be taking advantage of me.
