Thank you for the review!! The owner of the pet store in the next town actually feeds it to his dogs; and will special order it for any customers which is really nice. I've heard some great things but will definitely take note of this next time I have someone ask for advice with a picky eater. =D

They sell it in different sized bags....the smallest our store carries is like $13. Perfect size for using as treats. I see they have a venison formula out now too. My fav is dandy lamb....breaks off easier IMO because I assume its "fattier".

S&C came today (the Rabbit)! It feels like foam. It didn't seem right to give it to Midgie like it is, so I added a little warm water & SHE LOVED IT!!! But she's not picky & didn't have any kind of reaction. My question to who ever feeds this stuff is how much do you give a 7 lb chi (1 patty or 2)? Not sure if 1 patty would be enough for her. If it's not, I might add some kibble or ZP which I plan to phase out of her diet when it's gone.

Mine love Stella and Chewy's. I have only tried the beef to balance out venison or venison and fish Ziwipeak. I bet they would easily eat it everyday. I am never sure how much to give for a meal. Lady gets slightly less than recommended Ziwipeak because she came to me chubby. I give her a little over half a pattie of S & C for a meal (she is 5.5 pounds). Prince gets about 1/2 a pattie. I haven't read of a dog who hasn't like it but it is quite pricey. If mine suddenly have issues with Ziwipeak I would feed them S&C exclusively.

It's hard to pinpoint if the ZP is the main cause of the tummy issues. I agree that something has changed with the ZP, either ingrediants or the process. It's very expensive, so I'm always looking for cheaper alternatives that are just as good. Thanks for the info.
