Thumbs up Stella & Chewy's Freeze Dried Patties! Great for picky eaters!

I finally found the Holy Grail of food for picky eaters! S&C Freeze Dried Patties!

After a mediocre response from Luxie with The Honest Kitchen, I decided to try S&C FDP and she goes CRAZY over it! Specifically the Duck Duck Goose and the Beef patties. She's just ok with the Lamb and Surf&Turf flavors, but I feed them to her anyway because I figure it's healthiest to rotate. She'll eat them anyways so that's good!

What a relief!! She was really starting to lose weight and I was getting so worried. Never knew Chihuahuas are so stubborn, some would rather starve than eat something they don't like

A special shoutout to MChis who suggested S&C FDP in my THK post! <3

Yup yup yup! The owner of the store we shop at says thats what she recommends for picky eaters. When Evie goes through her weird phases of not wanting to eat I just start to take 1/4 of a patty & crumble it up in her Ziwi & she'll eat it all right down. I also use it for bait when training.

Glad you found something Luxie loves!

I never thought of using that for training!

Does s&c sell sample bags? Star decided she doesn't want nv raw anyone. I don't want to buy a big bag if she doesn't like it.

I agree too! Lola was always a picky eater but she loves the duck duck goose freeze dried patties, we call it chi crack at our house bc they all go bananas over it. Be careful tho bc it's super rich, I started adding more of it and less kibble to their meals and Lola is already looking thicker

Some stores have samples to give away, it's always the beef or surf and turf variety never the duck but they do sell smaller bags for like $13 and the bigger ones are about $32.

I was just at the pet store yesterday that sells it. I didn't even bother to look. Wonder if they think I'm crazy if I go there again tomorrow...lol

Now I see they have a Rabbit flavor, I didn't see that one on Amazon. Has anyone let their chis try it?

Yup Izzie is SUPER picky too.. and S&C is the only food I have found that she will not only eat right when I give it to her, but gobble it up right away! She is so picky with dog food.. and she is so naturally thin too that it worries me.
