Most of you know that I lost Chinga a week ago today from a severe heart murmur. It is my belief that she had so much love to give, but her little heart wouldn't let her. To have an animal die in your arms is a terrible and beautiful experience. I am glad that I was able to hold and comfort my puppy through her last breaths. When I close my eyes, I can still see her sweet face. I am thankful that I had about an hour with her before my husband took her to the vet after she died. I layed her out on her blankie and held her and talked to her. Thank you all for your support. i couldn't get through this without such wonderful and understanding people such as yourselves.
Hang in there! It's not easy, but thing about the good moments that ya'll had together. She is in a better place right now playing with our babies that had passed to the rainbow, and she is in no pain anymore.

I think you really were blessed to be with her as she died peacefully in your arms. She was comforted by your love until the end. The only thing that ever gives me comfort when I lose a beloved pet is the knowledge that I gave them the best life I could while they were on this earth. So many dogs die alone and abused. My dogs died loved and cared for. And I truly think they go to a better place.
