Dearest Tanner, we miss you so much. I want to thank you for the wonderfully loyal and gentle dog that you were to your family. We think of you often. I remember the day we brought you home. You were so sweet and adorable with your little black nose and tan coat. You melted my heart. Do you remember what a naughty little puppy you were??LOL, you grew out of it though and were just a dream to be with. You always liked everyone you met and I miss the way you used to wag your entire body and smile.
Lucy especially misses you. You guys were just the best of friends. She has a new sister now, Bailey and she looks a lot like you did. I'm just sick that I lost my phone and so many pictures of you were on it. I would love to be able to post your picture here so everyone could see what a beauty you were, but I don't have a scanner

However, your face is burned into my heart forever.
I think of you often and still get tears in my eyes when I do. You were always so obedient, Tanner. Even on that fateful day, 2 years ago, when I found you dying on the floor, you did everything I asked of you. Even though you were bleeding to death internally you still got in and out of the car at the vets office on your own accord. I'm so sorry I wasn't strong enough to carry you. I didn't know you were so close to dying dear Tanner....we just didn't know

I'll always cherish those last few minutes we had together and that I was able to be with you when you passed.
Rest in peace our dear sweet girl. We will never forget you.
All of my love,
Mom
