My 13 year old Standard Poodle, Midnights Cassandra Lee ("Cassie") started having seizures last night, then threw her head back, her front legs got really stiff and she can't feel/use her back legs. She won't eat, but will drink. We had x-rays taken today and she has a tumor the size of a grapefruit next to her spine that has intertwined with her spine and caused back end paralysis. She had mammary tumors taken off a few weeks ago, and this tumor was not there so it's a very rapidly growing tumor. I am just heartbroken, she's my heart baby girl, I've had her since she was 12 weeks old. She sleeps alot but still would run around and get excited for things. We will be helping her cross over to rainbow bridge tomorrow with family present.

I am so sorry for your loss.. It never gets any easier when we lose them. One of our pugs will be 17 if he makes it till Feb 6th. I know his time is coming soon and it is so very difficult.
