Goodbye Mishka
I'm not sure if this sort of post is welcome here... I just know that my Mishka is gone and we'll never get her back. I know she's not a Chihuahua, but I couldn't find the rules for this section.
We were at my husbands friends house for a small barbecue, just us and his friends family. His friend had two big dogs, one was a pit bull and the other was a doberman. They were sweethearts, but very intimidating. They had a big yard, I let our Mishka out with the other dogs to play in the yard. They hadn't been out long, maybe about 15 minutes when we were about to leave. I opened the door and called her inside, but she didn't come. I went out to look for her and other two dogs were standing staring at the back of the gate with their ears up, alert. I ran over and looked, but there was no one there. There were no holes, Mishka was too small to have jumped. She was just gone.
This is my Mishka.

She was about 5 or 6 months old, and it's been quite a few months since she was taken. I try not to think about it, so I'm not sure how long it has been. I was depressed forever until we started fostering dogs, so now I feel much better, but there's still this empty spot.
I love you, Mishka. You'll always be my first puppy. I hope you're happy, wherever you are.

Omg....im soooo sorry! What in the world happened....there were no small holes thru the gates anywhere? I know when dogs get scared they will use an ability u never knew they had to run off. Just like humans, there was an incident where a guy lifted a helicopter off a person by himself thru all the strength he had miraculously...its crazy how much strength we don't use on a daily basis. I hope she comes home one day. I saw a dog who came, home after 7 years of being lost. Never lose faith<3

I'm so sorry...to lose a pet to death is traumatic enough but to not know where your pet is must be devastating..I pray that someone reached over the fence and stole her and she is living in a new home and being treated well... I can't imagine the selfishness of doing such an act but I think it does happen.....

So sorry that happened to you and Mishka. Unfortunately dogs are stolen here frequently. I can't believe that someone would want to rip a dog from its home. Disgusting.

The owner of the two big dogs said that by the way they were acting, he thought someone was in the yard. Because of the way they were acting, I thought so too. They were standing all erect with their ears up, eyes wide and serious.
I'm hoping someone stole her to sell her, that way she had a decent chance at a good home.

So sorry someone took her, she is a beautiful puppy. You would think the bigger dogs would have put up a fuss, or a person would be afraid of them. Wonder if it was someone the big dogs knew.

That's a very upsetting thought, I was worried it may have been set up. When something like that happens, you just look at everyone differently, wondering what they're capable of.
Hopefully it was a neighbor or something, and not the friend of the family.
