Okay so I thought the dogs would go nuts over the chicken thighs this evening no such luck, even my brothers lab wouldn't eat it. So far I've been feeding them the meat ground up mixed with ground up veggies. I was hopping to give them some bones since they've been on the ground meat for a little over a week. I tried the parm cheese but they just licked it off. I put it in a pan and seared it and they just looked at the like really. I got 2 cornish hens today and plan on giving them that for a meal sometime this week.

Mine just licked and played with the raw chicken on bone the first few times but then they got the idea that it was food and finally ate it. I found it worked to hand feed them too.

A couple ideas....

Bash the thigh with a hammer (under a towel) so that it is floppy and the marrow inside the bones and the crunch may entice them to eat it.

Get scissors and ribbon the meat on the thigh so it's hanging off in strips.

Maybe a combination of the two.
