Thanks for the pork recommendation! I'm definitely going to check that out. Last time I went to Walmart for myself, they had a huge selection of pork.

Just found out another butcher carries ostrich, elk, buffalo, etc. Would these be a good red meat source? And is any of these better than the other? Like example, is elk better than ostrich or vice versa?

Ostrich, elk, and buffalo?! Holy cow!! Jackpot! No, I wouldn't say one is better than the other. All are excellent. I'm so jealous you have that much variety to choose from. Lucky you!

I know! I can't believe I've been missing out on these meats the whole time. I just tried a Google search for exotic meats in my area and BOOM a butcher in my area pops up who has all kinds of odd meats on a regular. They have organs for super cheap too. Thing is I don't know what to choose lol, they have everything like venison, lamb, ostrich, quail, duck, elk, rabbit, buffalo. I mean really, who carries all of that!? Is it weird that I enjoy finding new meats for my dog and shopping for her?

Weird?! NO way!!! I absolutely LOVE meat shopping. It's like an addiction to try and find new meats, stuff on sale, etc. I spent an hour in an asian market awhile back just ogling all the strange meats they had in their meat department. I bought a ton of it. I need to go back.

Hehe exactly. It's like I'm on a constant secret mission to find the best meats at the best prices ha. Most of my kibble feeding friends don't get how it's enjoyable. They're like "uh...." Lol.
