Liver
I want to go 100% raw, but neither of my little angles will have nothing to do with liver, they hate it, if I sneak it in, they spit it out. Are there any other sources?
I give them nupro for itchy skin, it has disected liver in it is that a good source? Or doesn't it have enough in it?
Also WHERE do you get kidney?
I really want to do this after we get our move all done, hopefully this next weekend, but I will wait a week or two after the move so they and we can get settled. They are eating Acana now, well Orijen 6 fish because the place I buy it from was out of the Acana fish flavour. But they like it, and boy does it smell like fish.
Well if there is some other way I can get them to eat the liver, whether by the nupro or other means please let me know!!
Thank You!

Mine react like that to both liver AND kidney. However, when I dehydrate it, they go absolutely mad for it, they adore it. My suggestion would be to get yourself a dehydrator, do a huge batch, say all 12 trays, and keep the results in air-tight containers and it will last you ages. I just slice my lamb kidneys into x 4 slices, so quarters and same with liver, meal sized portions, that way you don't have to worry how much you are giving.
Kidneys are in all butchers over here, as are liver.

Mine also love dried liver treats, but not the fresh stuff.
I have found mine will eat liver, kidney and the dreaded spleen that i have so much of to use up, if I shave tiny slivers off whilst still frozen. It doesn't have the texture, and I dont think they can taste it while it is still frozen.
Other than that there is cod liver oil. You would have to check on the correct dosage, but basically it is liquid liver.

Thank you Dee, however I have dehydrated some liver and they STILL did not want anything to do with it, chica tried some, but puked it right back up. It was cow liver, can it be liver from any animal? Would calf liver be better? I have seen that in the store. For kidney, I have never seen it here.

My two actually enjoy chicken livers, I think they must taste milder, so definitely worth trying different organs from different animals Pigs organs seem to be the least favoured.
Also my two wouldn't speak to me if I gave them a whole meal of liver/kidney, so I use it as a topper on something I know they will like.

I havent thought of giving it to them frozen, that might work. The cod liver oil might be an option too. Thank you!

So it can be ANY kind of liver? Not just from a cow? They might like chicken livers, they do like chicken gizzards

I try and vary the type of liver offered so they get chicken, calf, pigs and lambs (and rabbit when they have a rabbit, I don't buy it separately.) With raw as much variety as possible is best.
