Question won't eat pre made...help?

I am totally shocked, I bought Primal Pre made raw, I gave Lizzie her first meal of it this morning and she wouldn't even touch it This is the first thing in her 5 years that she wouldn't eat. What should I do? I'm sure I could bring it back, but I was really hoping she's eat it. Any suggestions?

Is this her first time eating raw? If you really want to switch foods, I would just wait her out.

This is her first time eating full raw, but in the past shes had some chicken legs, gizzards and hearts eating them up right away. She is pretty much like a vacuum. For breakfast I mixed her Acana kibble with it and she picked the kibble out. For dinner I mixed it with Merrick Turducken can (just a little bit), she tried to pick it out, but ended up eating everything. Should I just not feed her anything, just the raw for a whole day and see what she does?

If you definitely want to stick with that food, then yes. A lot of people recommend offering a meal for 15 minutes and if it isn't eaten, pick it up and repeat at the next meal time. Normally dogs won't starve themselves so she may just need to get hungry enough to try it. If you offer her something else instead just to get her to eat, she'll learn quickly what will happen if she waits you out. Our chi can't go very long without eating because she gets an upset tummy, but most dogs can.

I feed Chloe primal. She does not like the lamb or the beef. But loves the duck and chicken. What flavor was it? Did you know they make a starter pack that has a variety in it? Might want to give that a shot. Good luck!
