Oh, and if I forget to thaw something, I almost always have eggs. One egg is a meal. Can't get more simple, easy, and cheap than that!

Well we r just starting raw today. But I bought 1kg (pre-packed) for $7.50 (Australia) & as long as it doesn't go off I think it would easily feed my 3 chi's for almost 2 weeks!! I am impressed by the price

I get the majority of our meat off craigslist, from people cleaning out their freezers. Turkey, venison, beef, even some quail once. I always buy my own pork, though. This really skews my data, though, cost wise. Not to mention, b/c Stella has decided that she doesn't like organs, and my kitty Naomi will hardly touch bones, I've decided it's necessary to supplement with kibble (and since doing this, neither of the kitties are near as interested in raw... lazy butts).

Probably a couple times a month. He prefers meat to eggs, so it's basically a fill in meal.
