what's the difference between sentbox and outbox?

I didn't realize there is only room for 10 messages in the sentbox, and so mine was 100% full & the last thing I sent didn't go there, but into the outbox instead. ??

does that mean it didn't go to it's recipient?

From the outbox, I don't see a "send" button like you would have in an e-mail outbox.

When you send a message, it stays in the outbox until the recipient picks it up. Then it will show up in the "sent" box.

Jill's right ....although i don't know what happens if your send box is full ....doesn't it get send or does it just not show up in the send box

I have no idea on that one. Took me forever to figure out the outbox vs sent thing. LOL
