i've got this stupid obsession that all the icons at the side have to be the same colour so i go through all the posts, then they are marked as read by the icons being the same if you know what i mean.

well...ive been through posts got the icons matching logged off, logged on again a while later and all the post ive just read are showing as unread!!! and it keeps happening over and over again.
and it also tell me post ive replied too are unread!!! i dont want to read my own posts again

this is really stressing me out! can anyone help

Also, I can't find the smilies anywhere, even if I click on the "advanced" button to reply.

Ok, for the smilies to show up...I'm not sure if this is what you did but go to EDIT OPTIONS

Should be on the left side once you're in your profile...

Scroll all the way down to MISCELLANEOUS OPTIONS and choose the selection on the picture...


that would let you use the smilies....

As for the read/not read issue...i don't know how to fix it..and I don't think there's actually a way...but hopefully there is cause it bothers me a bit too..lol

I think the reason they are coming up as unread is because there is new posts in that thread since the last time you viewed it.

no their isnt new posts, i will think there is because its marked unread then it turns out there just same old ones ive already read! its driving me crazy
