I think that we should add a debate section to this forum... that way, we could argue about food and breeding without others getting offended. I know that we have some heated arguments on here, and I think that if we had a specific section for debating issues, that things wouldn't get so heated. We could be respectful and debate things out in that section.
I think that it is a good idea but Im not sure that it should be open to everyone I think there should be a required # of posts before you can enter so that none of our new commers get scared away.
People are going to get angry and form grudges if there is a place to "spar" aka debate. I do think the breeding section should be the place to bring up anything about breeding and there should be a separate section for food. Those seem to be the hot buttons.
I like a good debate myself Some people want to debate then get mad about it & that's when you have problems. I think the breeding debates should be kept in the breeders section for sure & it might be a good idea to have a section for food as well. Like Sylvia said that's a hot topic too.
I think it's a good idea, especially if it's made quite plain that it's an area where it's really okay to express an opinion, and if you're going to be offended perhaps you shouldn't join in on the debates! I could see how it could stop some of the more heated discussions that are scaring people off.
