My IP number has been blocked and I can't get to the chihuahua-people forum from my computer. I don't know why and wonder if someone could advise or email me and shed some light. I hope it's not inappropriate to post here, but I wasn't sure what else to do. I can't think what I did that might have offended someone unless maybe I was a little overzealous with posting those first couple days. I am sorry for whatever I may have done. Any information someone could give, would be greatly appreciated. Hugs to all, chis rule.
I have no idea why it says you were banned but it had to be a glitch or something. You haven't done anything wrong here, so it must be a problem with the site.
Dear Kari thanks so much and thanks for replying. I thought and thought what I might have done to offend and could only come up the fact that maybe I did too many posts that one day. I was trying to keep up with posts and pics that I really wanted to reply too and wound up posting a lot. I miss being able to pop on at anytime... sure hope it can be fixed.
I can't get on by directly clicking on the chihuahua people bookmark in my favorites folder, or by typing the url directly in the address bar. The only way I can get there is by using a proxy service (which is slow and a nuisance) which masks my IP number. Sooooooooooooo somewhere along the line, my IP number got blocked.
When I had my forum, there was a place to block IP numbers. That's different from banning a member. I don't remember now how that was done, but apparently that's what's happened. Thanks for checking Kari, I appreciate your checking it out.
How frustrating eh? I'm sorry you are having this problem too, but glad I'm not crazy! It's extremely frustrating. I was beginning to wonder... Sounds as tho there may be a block of numbers blocked. Are you on roadrunner by any chance? I had a similar problem happen with a mailing list and there was a block of RoadRunner IP #'s blocked because someone else in that block was spamming. Good grief.

No I am not on Roadrunner. I thought it was something to do with my Verizon security suite. I dumped it and reinstalled but it didn't help.

You haven't done anything wrong here, so it must be a problem with the site. 
So that's not a reason to get banned anyway.
