Something crazy is happening on this forum today. It seems that every place that the letters "a s s" appear, they have been removed! It doesn't matter if it is someone's name or, in my case, the name of a file for my siggy!!! The file name was christmas santa (without a space), so this forum has removed those 3 letters, thus deleting my siggy! A friend of mine also addressed someone in their post that happened to have those 3 letter together in their name, and the same thing happened. Can someone please explain this to me? I understand there are filters to remove curse words, but this is WAY too excessive.

lmao thats hilarious. yes i agree way too excessive. its like if u wanna say something like p*** or g***ed or fl*** or etc etc lmao...some people take the curses too seriously. i dont even think that should even be considered a curse as its a body part and have been said on tv stations without it being rated r or so....hmmm

Yesterday a post came in full of bad language - unfortunately the word censors did not pick up on it.

So the site is being tweaked to work out the glitches - this forum runs 24 hours a day as the users are worldwide - it is impossible to work on glitches without it being live.

Siggy sizes are another area that will be worked on in the future as many far exceed the sizes on the forum rules.

Admin is working on all these areas, so bare with us while they are being sorted.

ha ha Pidge, you are hilarious. I noticed the filter too on a couple of posts. I couldn't figure out what was going on! Thank goodness we aren't getting exposed to really bad words! Embedded in other words! LOL!
