Recently found this out...

You have to have 75 posts to have a signature.

What is up with that???!!! On every other forum I'm involved on, there are absolutely NO regulations to have one.
What purpose is there in this rule? In my mind, all it's there for is to limit the privileges of people who don't have much time on the computer except on car trips and such-like things, like myself. What did we ever do to deserve this? I'm going to be here for a long time to come with my Chi, but judging from my posting progress, it will be a while till we have 75 posts.
I don't mean to seem bad-tempered, but my perspective on this pointless, stupid rule is a very dark one. Please reconsider, or at least give me one good reason for it that I agree with.

you can have a siggy from day one. You just have to have 75 post to ask another member to make you one. If you make your own it doesnt matter how many post you have. We just want to make sure our hard work isnt wasted. If you pop in for five post and then leave. A good siggy takes hours. I would know I make hundreds.

I know about the million thread. But I don't really have many random things to say. I've posted there a bit, but not much.
Someone has already offered to make me a signature, but from what I've heard you can only have one if you have 75 posts or more.

You can make your own and not have to have the 75.

Its just a siggy takes so many hours to make and we want to make sure your sticking around if one of our members would make you one. We dont want to make one for you and then you post five more times and then never come back on. Its more for us that you. Both the siggys I have I made myself and both took many hours. Its just alot of work. And I guess we want you to earn them. Thats all. Its nothing personally.

Yes Ciarra is correct you can make your own and use it from day one...the 75 post rule is to Request a signature to stop people requesting one and someone spending their time and effort making something for someone who may only post a few times and dissapear and not participate in the forum, the rule is not there to limit anyones privileges just protect the members that give up some of their free time to make a graphic for someone
