Default Has my thread been deleted?

I just noticed my thread asking about where a member was seems to have vanished?
Just wondering why, as there were no arguements in it as far as i could see, although hadnt checked it recently, but am pretty sure there wasnt any.
Also nobody was being rude about anyone, just asking a simple question, since a lot of us took the time to advise that member etc....
I think that deleting such a thread is a bit OTT IMO.

Are we not allowed to ask questions? am sure we have had MANY threads in the past asking exactly what my thread was about and it wasnt removed, so seems odd this one had to go.
Hmmm.

Any feedback on this would be cool.
Am not out to cause any problems at all.
A lot of things didnt add up about that members posts, and so it is obvious there are going to be people asking questions you know?
Sure people do come and go, that is normal, but again i didnt see the harm, nor was i the only one wondering what had happened.

I noticed that thought i went to check to see if that member had posted.
are there rules about asking about other members if there is could we know as i'm pretty sure there was a thread before about who wasn't here anymore.
i have my own views on this particular instance but it seems bit harsh to delete it for no reason. I think the majority of people have the same thoughts as me on that member but none of us have actually said anything wrong.
Feedback would be good thanks.

The thread was removed because further discussion is fruitless - the member you speak of is no longer a member on here. At the same time we don't want any members past or present being dissed on here. So please leave it at that.

Thanks everyone!

Thanks jane. I'll assume our thoughts were right then. Just want to mention no one was dissing as you said most of us are grown women so don't feel the need. Some of us were just a bit put out by the trolling and nothing being done to our knowledge and then terris thread being deletedsometimes just comes across as being a little unfair.
anyway thanks for letting us know

Ah ok, so they were trolling it seems.
No worries wont discuss her again.
Was just that a lot of people took interest and were being helpful towards her.
Wont go on about it now, thanks for letting me know why my thread went anyway. xx
