Hey!

I had a thought this morning and wanted to ask if we could have something like this here as well!
On another forum I belong to, we have a section that is allowed access by post count. So you have 500 posts or 1000 or whatever it may be, and then you gain access, generally just an area for members to chat, post about pretty much anything. It basically just omits lurking from unregistered people and ensures the people posting are active invested members a good thing right?

Could we get something like that here mods? I noticed there is a breeding forum thats access granted but there is no chat lounge.

Question- Is it for like live chat where their are tons of member chatting at once Or something like this that only people with that many post cant get in to and answer them? I ask because a chat lounge I think would be wonderful idea...

I don't really know what difference it makes if people are lurking or if they are unregistered people. If they are comming here to learn about their dogs and get information why keep them out?.

I think I have to agree with you. Everyone is here to learn no matter how many post we have. It's always good to share info. I don't think it's should matter. A chat lounge would still be a god idea but I don't think it should matter how many post they have or don't have.

I'm going to say "no" to this for now unless there are many more users wanting this. Sorry.

I rather liked the idea myself. Too bad. I don't think this area of the forum gets a lot of traffic though for people to post their opinions..could be wrong, but maybe general chat is better place for this kitty.
