how do you use just part of someone's quote in a reply? When I click the quote tab the whole text appears and a lot of the time I only want to use a sentence. Thx!

first you click the quote tab, then you put your cursor on the end part of what you dont want and just backspace. not sure if i explained that right... made sense to me

Well you would normally have something like this when you click quote
[ QUOTE= Username ;] whatever they have typed [ /QUOTE]

so all you need to do is delete the sections of the message you don't want (i.e the bits in red)
