So yesterday was Autumn's first time to the vet for booster shots! She did very well and everyone at the vet office loved her. Which I felt kind of bad because I had my other 2 dogs with me and Autumn was getting all the attention!!
A little back story is Autumn was an impulse buy for me. I was not looking for another dog but ran across her at a vendor that had the pups, it was freezing outside and the poor baby was shaking so bad even with a sweater on. So needless to say I did not do much research on her or the breeder. But I went ahead and bought the beautiful 2 pound chihuahua. Right when I got her I wrapped her up in a fleece blanket and put her down in my carhartt to get her warm and stay warm. After I think about it I do think she came from a small puppy mill operation. But I was kind of blinded by the love for her that I didn't really think about it at first. But I have not had any problems with her other then normal puppy stuff.
Anyway the vet deemed her as healthy! Which was a sigh of relief for me. Her heart and lungs were great, no problem with her ears and gaining weight well. The vet did point out how much he liked her personality.
He did say she might have chronic alopecia because she does have some areas that doesn't have a ton of hair growing in compared to the rest of her body. Her forehead, temples and neck are very scarce of hair. So were just going to see how that goes.
She's my little princess so I really could care less about the alopecia.
But I was so proud of her, she handled everything like a champ and was more brave then my other two big dogs!!!
Love that little girl!
