Default Cold

It is 4 degrees celsius here today. Honey always got cold but i am assuming due to her ibd she ifar colder this year. Her ibd makes her very tired all the time, and she struggles to keep weight on. She has a double coat though. She is currently in her pen which is covered in blankets, on a bed with a heatpad in, with a sherpa type blanket over her, with a dress and a hoodie on! Seriously, i thought she might have warmed up now, i uncovered her to take her hoodie back off and she growled at me. (btw she definitely isn't ill right now bc she was happy to catch treats earlier )

How cold do yours get?

I keep our house at 74 degree F. They don't seem to get cold. I feel their ears a lot to make sure they are comfy. I am 77+ yrs old, and my bed room faces north. It can get to 62o in there. Even that cool, and my short hair wants to come in and take a nap in her cuddle bed.

I live in Newcastle, so im near you and I worry about this too. I just always make sure the heating is on when its feeling a little chilly and ive just recently bought an outhouse for them during the winter so that they don't have to go potty outside since we will be getting some really bad weather soon.

I live in Ontario, Canada - right in the middle of what is called the "snow belt". Enough said!!!

Dorothy is already cold more often so she wears a sweater inside. And, well, I guess we'll see what her attitude is about this whole winter thing!
