Default car carriers

My Abbi girl like car rides but I don't want her loose in the car. My Corgi pup is loose but is trained to stay still in the back of the car.
Two things that I am concerned about with doing this with Abbi. First Samuel is a lot bigger then her, he might sit on her, lol. Second she has a habit of wandering and unlike Samuel she can fit under a car seat!
SO my question is what brands or types of car seats / harnesses do you use? And why you picked it as I am not a fan of holding her in the front seat.

This is the one we have for Cuddles. I like this one, because I feel like she's safer with it zipped up. I am thinking about getting her a bigger one like it, though.

A bunch of us here have the snoozer lookout car seats. Really comfy and great height for them to look out at the window

PLEASE do NOT leave your dog free in the back seat. She/he is a flying missile if, heaven forbid you are hit, or have to slam on your brakes. I had my Bonnie in her carrier, seat belted in, when some stupid driver cut in front of me to 'make' an exit. I jammed on the brakes, and Bonnie slammed into the front of the carrier. She was not hurt, but IF she had not been in her carrier, belted in, heaven only knows what would have happened.

I posted pics of our new Pupsaver yesterday. I'm really impressed with the quality of construction and fabric and being able to have it in the front seat and still be safe. I also have the Pet Gear and like it a lot, too. However, it doesn't offer the protection in the front passenger seat. There is a lot more room in the Pupsaver. I put one dog in each and switch them when we stop for breaks. Pupsaver has a really good deal on Coupaw right now.
