Default It's mine!

This am I gave the dogs their breakfast. Fromm kibble and a tiny amount of leftover creamed corn. Bonnie (almost 4) does not like veggies thank you! So after I thought she had finished, I opened her pen like usual. Her 'sister' Emmie was waiting, and darted in to 'finish off' the creamed corn that Bonnie had left. As soon as she saw Emmie start to come into the pen, Bonnie darted out of her crate, and began finishing up the corn. Just so Emmie couldn't! I laughed so hard; that's one way of making Bonnie eat her veggies!

A bit of competition always works wonders lol.
I struggled to get Harley to eat organ (liver, kidney etc that is a vital part of his raw diet) for over a year, but when we got Mouse and Delilah who are both canine hoovers that will eat anything (I mean anything, it doesn't even have to be food lol) he started eating his organs quick smart. No fussy eaters in a household with five dogs lol, eat it or lose it.

Food competition....I think it is a race in our house to see who can eat their food in 15 seconds or less (-:

Poor Bonnie really eats her kibble one by one. Thank goodness for the pen. She can eat as slowly as she wants. (very short muzzle) She wheezes and hacks while eating. So she had retired to her crate and I thought she was thru---guess not!

It's funny (and a real plus sometimes too) how having more than one forces the more picky eater to eat.

They may be picky, but they sure HATE sharing!

haha My Lilo does that too. She refuses to eat whenever the pieces of raw organ in her food are too big, but as soon as Rocky starts eying up her bowl she forces herself to eat even if she gags with every bite. lol
