Default Update

I thought I would do an update since so many of you gave me great advice on feeding our new chihuahua. We have had her almost 2 weeks. We found a food that she likes and eats every single bite of it. She is loving nature's recipee pure essentials. It looks just like a chicken soup with rice. She like lamb and duck but will eat any of them. She is also scheduled for her shots and her spay on thursday. I'm very nervous because she is so little and that she might have issues going back to eating after. So far she is doing great with not going potty in the house. She had 2 accidents and the both were my fault. I guess I have to make her walk around in order to poop. That's what we've been doing since and so far so good. We'll wish us luck in Thursday.

HAPPY EASTER TO YOU ALL.

She'll do great! You I'm not sure!! Nerves will do weird things to us. Try and not to think negatively. Not easy I'm sure.

Yea I'm she will. I'll be worried till they call me. I can pick her up at 4 as long as she doesn't have any bleeding issues.

Thank you me to. I was afraid she wasn't eating enough to keep her blood sugar up. This food is a bit expensive but she isn't wasting it so I'm not complaining. I'd rather her eat dry food so I could just keep her bowl filled but she wont.

I just reread your post. I'd wait a month or so before I gave her the shots. Spaying is an 'insult' to her body, and I wouldn't want to flood her system with vaccines while recovering from a spay.

She has to be vaccinated before she is spayed. I'd like to get it don't before she goes into heat. My options are to get it done same day or get her shots and then wait. So it's best for us to get it done and over with. Then we can work on maybe getting her hip fixed. I do understand what you are saying tho.
