Default Interesting article about how to carry dogs safely

I thought this was quite an interesting read so thought I would share here.
Carrying your dog the wrong way can cause back problems

That is very helpful! I wonder what they would recommend for the little wiggle worms out there who need more restraint than the platform technique provides.

I have read that it is best to hold the front legs in a bent position with fingers both under the chest and outside the elbows, which would solve the overextension problem in the front.

Once I get a tiny dog, maybe I should practice in the mirror and find different ways to keep the back and all legs supported!

what is that? where can I find one? that'd help with going in stores bc I don't want to take her some times if she has to wait in the car but I don't like leaving her alone either. she'd squirm less and feel more comfortable she loves to sleep in my purse but gets fed up faster if I'm holding her in my arms too long.
