Default Coat to fit long skinny Chi?

I am hoping some of you have a dog with similar proportions to my Gobo and can recommend a winter coat that fits well.

His stats:
9" back length
11.5" chest circumference
6.5" neck
8.5" head
Right at 4 pounds, maybe an ounce or two more
Generally lanky and built somewhat like a sighthound or toy Manchester/English toy terrier.

I know I should post pictures, but I don't have the time or energy. Help!

Look at Hip Doggie, Wooflink, and Puppy Angel. They fit BG & Sonny best as they are long too

Those are some fun coats! The sizing page on hip doggie didn't work, though. I really want something very functional with less emphasis on cuteness. I really wish Ruffwear made a xxxsmall size! The best I found today was an overly puffy xxsmall vest at Petco and a clearance XS fleece hoodie at Petsmart. The puffy vest has arm holes in the wrong place and too thin of a chest piece so I am returning it. I am keeping the fleece pumpkin hoodie, but cut the hood off. I have my eye on a four-leg snowsuit on GW Little, but I don't think Gobo would tolerate it.

I guess I will just have to suck it up and try one of the $90 brands, Hurtta or Chilly Dogs.

Have you tried Louisdog? They have some great functional jumpers and their jackets usually have removeable hoods and embellishments so you can tone down the 'cute' if you're not into it but still get a great fit. The jackets are made with the 3M Thinsulate so they're super-light but really warm. Nibbler has a 7" neck, 11" girth and 9" back and size small in Louisdog fits him generously and the length is always good.

I was also looking at this woman who custom makes jackets which look great:

Nibbler also has a few doggiejama fleeces which are amazing quality. He wears the 25cmbut she also custom makes. You could take advantage of our crappy Australian $ and probably get one at a good price even with shipping.

Good luck finding something that fits well and is suited to what you want it for. It frustrates me that there is almost nothing in Australia that fits Nibbler and I have to buy everything from harness' to jackets from overseas. The things we do for our little guys. 😉
